Terms and Conditions

Before booking an experience please read the terms and conditions below. 

Bookings - Parties 

A party booking isn’t confirmed until we, at Marvellous Miniatures, have received a completed booking form and the agreed deposit. After the deposit has been paid, you will receive a confirmation booking email. Deposits are non-refundable but can be transferred in the event of an experience being rearranged.

The full payment must be made at least 7 days prior to the experience.

Bookings - Farm experiences

A farm experience booking isn’t confirmed until we, at Marvellous Miniatures, have received the full payment. After you have paid in full you will receive a confirmation booking email.

Bookings - Other experiences e.g. visits, events

A visit booking isn’t confirmed until we, at Marvellous Miniatures, have received a completed booking form and the agreed deposit. After the deposit has been paid, you will receive a confirmation booking email. Deposits are non-refundable but can be transferred in the event of an experience being rearranged.

Cancellations

To cancel an experience we, at Marvellous Miniatures, must be notified in writing over email to marvellousminiaturesandfriends@gmail.com and we will confirm this cancellation. If you have not received written confirmation from us you should call 07984512657 to ensure the cancellation is confirmed. The deposit is non-refundable, if the full payment has been made, and you cancel over 48 hours in advance a 20% refund will be given. Under 48 hours’ notice and unfortunately we cannot offer a refund.

In the unlikely event we at Marvellous Miniatures cancel your experience, we will advise you by phone at the earliest opportunity and seek to rearrange. In certain circumstances where it cannot be rearranged a refund will be offered minus the initial deposit.

Parking

You are required to inform us of any parking restrictions during the booking process, these can be documented on the booking form under extra information. We require free parking at the premises within 30 feet of the venue. If there is a parking cost this may be added to the overall cost of the experience.

Health and Safety

You are responsible for making sure every participant washes their hands adequately. For off-site experiences we can provide anti-bacterial gel but you are responsible for providing suitable hand washing facilities.

We, at Marvellous Miniatures, cannot 100% guarantee animals will not nip, bite, scratch, pee or poo. All animals are friendly, well-handled and desensitized to different environments which minimizes the risk however, animals are handled at own risk.

Animal Welfare

During the experience, we ask for pets to be kept secure in a different room, no music or loud speakers, doors and windows to be kept closed, no eating during the experience, no alcohol to be consumed before or during the event and adult supervision for under 16s at all times.

We cannot guarantee specific animals for experiences due to possibility of shedding, illness, etc.

We, at Marvellous Miniatures, have full public liability however, we are not responsible for any injury caused by mistreatment or mishandling of animals. Should an injury occur to an animal due to this, we reserve the right to terminate the experience immediately with no refunds and you may be responsible for the vet fees and/or replacement of the animal.
